Our North West and London based Implant Dentistry Course is one of the UK’s longest established courses. It is now in its 23rd successful year of delivery, helping dentists to integrate the discipline of Implantology into their practice.
With more patients than ever opting for dental implants over traditional approaches, mastering dental implants represents a significant growth opportunity to practices across the UK.
In line with the implant dentistry guidelines proposed by the GDC, our Implant Course provides the opportunity for delegates to place implants on live patients within a structured programme. The course will help cement the relationship between the prosthodontist, surgeon, dental laboratory and implant system provider to achieve the best results possible.
Dr. Goran Urde
The course lecturer is Dr Goran Urde. Dr Urde has for the past 27 years worked on both the clinical and manufacturing side of implants. He has held senior positions at the Branemark Clinic at the University of Gothenburg (the birthplace of the implant), the Eastman Institute in London, the combined Medical and Dental Schools of Guys and St Thomas’s hospitals. Dr Urde has published and lectured worldwide on implants. He is currently a specialist Prosthodontist at the Copenhagen Implant Centre and is a leading authority on the history, science and practical side of Implants, Surgery and Restorations.
Attendance on this course will qualify for your CPD qualification; each day of the course is equivalent to 6 hours CPD.
The main aims of our Dental Implant training course are to:
• Give you the skills and confidence to tackle dental implant treatments
• Help you to place dental implants on live patients in the first few days of the course
• Provide you with helpful marketing advice for offering implant treatments at your practice
Why Tipton Training’s Implant Course?
As part of our 15 day Implant course, delegates are invited to treat their own patients under the auspices of Tipton Training Ltd and the supervision of our experienced implant surgeon. These surgical are immenslely stimulating. Some dentists place and restore their first implants with us. Others learn more complex procedures. Observation days also help to enrich our delegates’ experience.
2016 saw the introduction of surgical clinics to provide our Alumni with on-going support through their early years of implant placement. By arrangement, our surgeons can visit your practice to assist you in tackling more complex placements.
Increased earning potential
Not currently covered under the NHS, Dental Implant treatments represent a significant growth opportunity Performing just one extra treatment a month could mean that the course pays for itself!
Place dental implants on live patients in the first few days of the course
Previous implant course delegates who have had the skills, knowledge and confidence to place implants have gone from placing 0 to 15 dental implants in the first few days of course!
Re-coup your course fees by treating your own patients
We strongly recommend that you bring one or more of your patients for dental implant treatment under the auspices of the course. Your patient can pay for the prosthetic part of the treatment. This can represent great value for potentially price sensitive patients and can subsidise or cover all your own course fees!
Receive valuable mentoring during and after the implant course- Join our Implant Part 2 Course
We also offer on-going mentoring for delegates to help you after the course has ended. Ongoing mentoring after the Implant course by attending day/s on our Implant Part 2 course.

Tipton Training for Dental Implants has completely exceeded my expectations and I haven’t even completed the 1 year course yet. If you want a WOW factor on an Implant Training Course with invaluable hands-on experience, signing up with Tipton Training is a MUST!
During my 3 day practical training course, not only did I have the privilege to observe numerous implant procedures carried out by my colleagues, I even placed 8 implants myself, including bone augmentation procedures. My nurse too was also able to attend to assist my clinical hands-on days with patients. She too gained an overwhelming knowledge base.
The course is so well organised and run by such highly experienced, efficient, helpful and friendly nurses, surgeons and administrative team.
Look no further, Tipton Training is value for money and worth every penny spent! It’s truly brilliant!!
The course gave me the confidence and knowledge to start placing and restoring implants for my own patients. On a purely business basis the course was a sound investment having paid for itself many times within the first year.
