dna-diagramFollowing our Olympians’ most successful Olympics in more than 100 years, winning 29 gold medals and ending up third in the table critics will no doubt question if we can do it again in 2016 in Rio. Our competitors will study our performances and scrutinise every detail of our preparation and performance in the different events.

Dentists and Myotherapists working in a Multidisciplinary Clinic can play an important role in improving the performance of our athletes and help to prevent structural injuries.

Occlusal and Spinal Dynamics are closely related and by improving the position of the jaw Sport Dentists have found improvements in athletes breathing, performance, endurance, reflexes, flexibility, posture and improvements of many other central and peripheral neurological activities.

Biodynamic Occlusal Supported Splint (BOSS ©) therapy provided by Dentists, Cell biologists and Myotherapists now forms an integral part of the athlete’s preparation and or rehabilitation. (www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/features/8710031.Paratrooper_Ben_s_battling_back_after_Afghan_horror/)
