Clear aligner therapy is now a major part of modern dentistry, yet many clinicians lack a structured understanding of biomechanics, occlusion, and treatment planning. This course provides a complete framework for the safe, predictable delivery of aligner therapy in everyday practice.
Designed for general dental practitioners, the programme bridges the gap between orthodontic theory and clinical application. You’ll learn not only how to move teeth, but why movements succeed or fail—giving you clarity and confidence in case selection and treatment planning.

Clinical focus and outcomes

Understand clear aligner principles, tooth movement, and case selection
Apply occlusal principles, including TMJ assessment and retention strategies
Analyse aligner biomechanics and understand movement predictability
Plan and design cases confidently using digital aligner software
Create effective attachment strategies and staging protocols
Manage mild to moderate malocclusions with greater control
Understand and implement in-house aligner production, including 3D printing and thermoforming
Deliver aligner treatment clinically, including attachment placement and finishing techniques
Troubleshoot cases and carry out occlusal adjustments for long-term stability

Certificate
On completion, delegates are awarded a Certificate in Clear Aligners from Tipton Training, along with 24 hours of enhanced verifiable CPD.
