Certificate in Implant Prosthodontics
(Level 7 Certificate & Non-Level 7 Options Available)
The 1-year qualification in Implant Prosthodontics comprises 11 modules delivered over one year through a blended learning approach. The course combines in-person seminars, practical sessions, and the potential opportunity to participate in live patient restorations (on your own / TTA’s patients) under the supervision of expert tutors, along with online webinars and tutorials.
Who Is It For?
The course is aimed at dentists who are new to implant dentistry, who seek to enhance their expertise in restoring implants, and who are not interested in the surgical side or placing implants. Must be GDC registered!
What to Expect?
The course combines theory with practical learning to ensure a holistic and engaging educational process. Dentists can expect to learn a comprehensive set of skills and knowledge related to the planning and restoration of dental implants. The curriculum is designed to provide a thorough understanding of implant prosthodontics, enabling dentists to integrate implant-based treatments into their practice.
It covers the key aspects of Implant Prosthodontics, such as Implant Occlusion, CBCT Training, Treatment Planning, Radiographic Stents, Digital Implant Techniques, Prosthetic Training for restoring single implants, bridges, overdentures and fixed arches, and Live Patient Implant Restorations.
Important Considerations for Implant Prosthodontics Delegates:
The Implant Prosthodontics course is closely integrated with the 1-Year Certificate in Dental Implantology, with Implant Prosthodontics delegates participating in 11 of the 14 modules, with additional online modules.
During the full 1-year Dental Implantology course delegates will place and restore implants under supervision during the live surgery sessions on the course, on their own / TTA’s patients. Signing up to complete the Implant Prosthodontics Certificate, there are no guarantees that you will be doing restorations on live patients during the practical sessions, as typically the delegate who placed the implant will also complete its restoration. If the implant-placing delegate cannot or chooses not to restore the implant, you will have the chance to perform the restoration.
Otherwise, on the course, during modules 4-11, you will observe the stages of implant restoration as part of the learning process, and if there are additional patients from TTA’s own marketing, then these patients can be restored by yourselves.
Additional Support:
Additionally, delegates have the opportunity to discuss clinical cases and receive feedback from our experienced tutors, in order to feel more equipped and confident in incorporating implant dentistry into their practice.
