About our Postgraduate Certificates
What is a Level 7 dental course?
A Level 7 course is equivalent to master’s level study. Tipton Training made the decision in 2016 to structure its programmes at Level 7 in order to give dentists a recognised academic pathway that matches the depth of the clinical training provided. Achieving Level 7 accreditation required a rigorous approval process with EduQual. In 2017, Tipton Training became the first private dental training institution to receive this level of recognition. EduQual qualifications are credit rated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority, providing independent quality assurance and academic credibility. While many private providers advertise Level 7 certificates or diplomas, not all are approved by an established UK awarding body. Independent accreditation protects delegates by confirming educational standards, qualification status and long term value.
