Course Overview

The PG Certificate in Advanced Dental Implantology is a live patient course for those who are actively placing implants in practice. The course will include hands-on days on advanced plastic models to practice more advanced Implant treatments. To gain the most out of this course, we encourage delegates to bring along advanced cases to be treated under supervision on the course days.

The course consists of 5 units over 10 days in form of seminars, practical and live surgical sessions on your patients, spread over 12 months. This course provides an opportunity to develop a strong understanding about advance topics such as Sinus Lifts, Bone Grafts, Ridge Splits, Soft and Hard tissue management.

We pride ourselves on our mentorship schemes, which go above and beyond the course days. You can continue to attend additional days with patients or we offer in-house mentorship for delegates in practice.

Unit 1: Tooth Now & Immediate Loading Concept of Single Tooth Implant

Learning Outcome 2: Anterior aesthetics for implant restorations

Unit 4: Occlusion and the restorative aspects for complex cases

Learning Outcome 1: Demonstrate understanding of essential restorative techniques as they apply to Implant Dentistry Patients with emphasis on Occlusion
Learning Outcome 2: Evaluate the essential factors relating to full arch reconstruction with Nordic Bridge/All on four/teeth in an hour/ Zygomatic
Implants or Angled Implant placements to avoid vital structures.
Learning Outcome 3: Demonstrate an understanding of techniques how to treat edentulous patients with Over dentures
Learning Outcome 4: Demonstrate an understanding of techniques to combine implants and teeth to manage compromised treatments and still provide predictable restorations

Unit 5: Complications in Implant Treatments - how to avoid and how to manage
