Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

What is a Level 7 Course?

We have worked hard in developing our previous course portfolio into Level 7 Post Graduate Certificates & Diplomas. Starting September 2017, our courses will be Level 7 National Vocational Qualifications. These differ from other Industry qualifications primarily because they are recognised by registered awarding bodies.

A level 7 course is the equivalent of a Master’s level post graduate qualification on various British Frameworks and is a recognised assurance of quality which is externally verified. The Level 7 status can only be awarded to a course after the curriculum, method of delivery and assessment is verified by a UK Awarding Body. We expect our courses to be credit rated and listed on the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF) by December 2017 and Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) which is the OfQual regulated framework sometime in 2018.

We have maintained the same range of topics and teaching methods, but, enhanced the benefits of joining Tipton Training, by being able to award Level 7 PG Certificates & PG Diploma’s.
