The Level 7 PG Diploma in Restorative Dentistry combines our PG Certificate in Restorative, PG Certificate in Operative & PG Certificate in Aesthetics Dentistry; Delegates can take this as individual certs moving from one to the next and achieving their diploma within the allotted time span or take the diploma as one unit. The Diploma is focused to support the development of delegates clinical knowledge and hands-on skills together with aesthetics in dental prostheses. The qualification consists of 14 units delivered over 39 days in the form of practical sessions, lectures and demonstrations. There are 32 face-to-face days, 2 e-learning days and 7 Online days via Webinars & Q&A’s.
The course itself provides the opportunity to increase your knowledge about key elements of Restorative Dentistry and apply these in hands-on sessions to improve your Operative Skills, together with achieving the Aesthetics your patient desires. Together these will give you the skills to enable you to help your patients obtain the Smile they have always desired.
During the course topics covered are Occlusion, Articulators, TMJ Splints, Basic Tooth Preparations, Introduction to Endodontics & Periodontics and Treatment Planning. The Operative part of the course you will work with a hand-picked team of demonstrators to practice techniques related to Anterior and Posterior tooth preparation, Bonded Crowns, Ceramic Crowns, Porcelain Inlays/Onlays, Direct Composite Restorations, Gold Preparations as well as Bridge Preparations. On the Aesthetic part of the course we cover various aspects of Smile Design, Shade Taking, Tooth Anatomy and Diagnostic Waxing, Photography, Perio Plastic Procedures, Designing a Digital Smile and finally Botox & Dermal Fillers.
The Level 7 PG Diploma in Restorative Dentistry will provide the knowledge and experience you need to understand, plan and deliver high quality private aesthetic treatment options for your patients.
The course can be completed as a standard course within approximately 12 or 18 months or as an extended course which is completed within approximately 18 to 36 months.
