4-Day Certificate in Clear Aligners: From Design to Delivery

Are you ready to offer clear aligner therapy to your patients? Our comprehensive Aligner Course provides you with the in-depth knowledge, hands-on skills and confidence to plan, design and deliver in-house aligner solutions successfully, from an Occlusion and TMJ focus.

This course is the only aligner programme in the UK that teaches orthodontics with an emphasis on occlusion and TMJ health, empowering you to manage cases confidently while avoiding potential occlusal or TMJ issues for your patients. We start with the fundamentals, covering clear aligner principles, tooth movement, case selection, and occlusal essentials, including TMJ assessment and retention techniques.

From there, you’ll explore the biomechanics of aligners, learning about attachment design, predictability, and how to work within biomechanical limitations. During the hands-on sessions, you’ll gain practical experience with aligner design software, managing various malocclusions, and creating effective staging protocols. You’ll also dive into the laboratory and manufacturing process, including 3D printing, thermoforming, and material selection for in-house production.

The course concludes with clinical management, troubleshooting, and finishing techniques, covering every step from attachment placement to occlusal adjustments for secure retention. By the end, you’ll have a complete, practical understanding of how to implement clear aligner therapy, from planning and design to clinical delivery and long-term case management.

What Sets this Course Apart?

This comprehensive course equips dental professionals with essential knowledge and practical skills for all-inclusive, in-house clear aligner orthodontic therapy. Participants will gain expertise not only in treatment planning and execution but also in case design and in-house aligner production. This approach offers clinicians greater control over the entire treatment journey, from planning and design to production and optimal delivery.

For those who prefer not to produce their own aligners, the course provides an in-depth understanding of the design and production phases, empowering them to effectively lead and command the process, regardless of the brand or system used for aligner production.

Who’s It For?

The course is tailored for general dental practitioners with little to no experience in treating patients with clear aligners. Its goal is to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills to understand clear aligner biomechanics and confidently manage a range of mild to moderate orthodontic cases. Additionally, the course empowers practitioners to take control of the design phase and ensure proper treatment planning, and in-house aligner production.
