Certificate in Advanced Dental Implantology (Level 7)
A 1-year Level 7 course aimed at those who are actively placing implants, who wish to advance their skills to offer more advanced implant treatments.
About the Course:
The Level 7 Certificate in Advanced Dental Implantology is designed for dentists looking to elevate their implantology skills to manage complex cases with confidence. Building on foundational implant and restorative training, this course equips you with the expertise to handle advanced procedures, including bone augmentation, soft tissue management, and full-arch rehabilitation.
Led by industry-leading clinicians, this comprehensive programme combines online theory with practical hands-on experience and patient-based learning to ensure you are fully prepared to tackle the challenges of advanced implant dentistry.
This course is divided into two parts:
1. Part 1: Online Theory Modules – £3,950 (inc VAT)
2. Part 2: Practical Implant Placement Options
Choose one of the following hands-on experiences to complete your training:
Option A: Personalised Mentorship for 15 Additional Cases
Receive 1:2:1 mentoring for 15 implant cases, either at your mentor’s clinic or in your own practice. Upon completing this option, you’ll have experience with a total of 25 mentored cases. The case fee, to be arranged between you and your mentor, will go directly to your mentor.
Option B: Intensive Implant Placement Week in Egypt
Enrolment Requirements:
In order to enrol onto the Advanced Dental Implantology course, delegates must have completed:
- The Level 7 Certificate in Dental Implantology
- The Level 7 Certificate in Restorative Dentistry
- Received mentoring on a minimum of 10 implant cases (we recommend completing these implant placements alongside the Restorative Dentistry course).
For those needing additional cases in order to meet the minimum requirement, we offer an intensive one-week experience in Egypt, where you can place 10 basic implants under expert mentorship. This costs £8,000 and is inclusive of flights & accommodation. Please contact us for more details or to express your interest.
If you have already completed other EduQual accredited year-long Restorative and Implant courses and have placed 10 implants under mentorship, you can move directly to the Advanced Implant Year 2 course. Proof of study and case studies demonstrating your experience will be required to confirm your eligibility.
Qualification:
Upon completion of the course and the assessments, you will receive a Level 7 Certificate in Advanced Implantology accredited by EduQual & The Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Tipton Training’s Level 7 Certificate and Diploma in Dental Implantology courses are the only Implant courses that have RCSEng accreditation, which is an award of excellence for outstanding surgery-related education. Our Implant courses also surpass both GDC guidelines and new College of General Dentistry guidelines on Implant mentoring.
For those who opt to complete only Part 1 (the online modules) of the Advanced Dental Implantology course, you will be awarded a Certificate in Implant Science (Cert Imp Sci).
