Following graduation in 1993, Dr McLelland worked as a House Officer at Dundee Dental Hospital. He then joined the Royal Air Force and served from 1995 to 2000 as a Dental Officer, rising to the rank of Squadron Leader.
He left the RAF in 2000, accepting an offer to join the renowned Carisbooke Dental Practice and Implant Centre in Leicester. He then moved to Manchester in 2003, to begin work with Professor Tipton and taking the courses at Tipton Training Academy at St Ann’s Dental Clinic, while studying for his Restorative Masters Degree at the University of Leeds. After qualification he became a Lecturer for the Tipton Training Academy. His main interests are in cosmetic and advanced restorative treatments.
