Without a doubt the best investment I’ve made throughout my dental career. The increase in level of knowledge regards dentistry, how occlusion is intrinsically linked to the success of our dental procedures have been massive. The operative course was excellent in providing a strong foundation for private dentistry. The ability to perform multiple preparations using the techniques taught with feedback from tutors really helped to improve my skill, speed and efficiency which was evident as the course went on. This course has revolutionised my clinical practice. I did the Diploma in Prosthodontics (Restorative & Operative) and I cannot imagine doing one without the other. The restorative course is bursting with all the theory and knowledge, whereas the operative course days have been my chance to refine my practical clinical skills and get 1 on 1 feedback which you miss being in general practice! Before the course I had never done cast posts/cores, veneers, and hadn’t placed an amalgam since Dental School! Now I’ve done all of the above on my own patients which I would never have batted an eyelid at prior to the course! Now I have the clinical freedom to do high quality clinical work that I am proud of, feeling more confident in my knowledge and clinical ability.
