Our North West and London based Implant Dentistry Course is one of the UK's longest established courses. It is now in its 18th successful year of delivery, helping dentists to integrate the discipline of Implantology into their practice.
With more patients than ever opting for dental implants over traditional approaches, mastering dental implants represents a significant growth opportunity to practices across the UK.
The GDC's policy statement on implant states clearly that a 'UK-qualified dentist would not be expected to be competent to practise implant dentistry without undertaking structured postgraduate training and assesment of competence' For 2012 our improved Implant Course provides the opportunity to place implants on live patients within a structured programme. The course will help cement the relationship between the prosthodontist, surgeon, dental laboratory and implant system provider to achieve the best results possible.

As part of our 15 day Implant course, delegates are invited to treat their own patients under the auspices of Tipton Training Ltd and the supervision of our experienced implant surgeon, Dr Eugene Marais. These surgical are immenslely stimulating. Some dentists place and restore their first implants with us. Others learn more complex procedures. Observation days also help to enrich our delegates' experience.
2012 also sees the introduction of surgical clinics to provide our Alumni with on-going support through their early years of implant placement. By arrangement, our surgeons can visit your practice to assist you in tackling more complex placements.
