Tipton Training is one of the UK’s largest and most respected private postgraduate dental training centres, having provided world-class education to over 5,000 dentists globally over the past 30 years. In this role, Dr Holyoak not only shapes the course content but also delivers lectures across the UK and internationally, combining theoretical instruction with hands-on clinical training. His teaching is widely recognised for its clarity, depth, and strong emphasis on real-world, evidence-based application.
Dr Holyoak has also served as a Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), where he was Clinical Education Supervisor for the MSc in Prosthodontics. He was recently appointed Educational Supervisor in Advanced Restorative & Cosmetic Dentistry at the School of Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education. His international lecturing experience spans the UK, Ireland, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, Lebanon, and Iran—including an invited presentation at the prestigious Digital Dentistry Conference in Dubai.
As a Clinical Opinion Leader, Dr Holyoak works closely with leading dental manufacturers, advising on the use and development of restorative materials and techniques. He is also the author of Smile Design: Rules, Tools and Strategies (Primary Dental Journal, FGDP, 2013), a well-regarded publication that supports dentists in planning and delivering aesthetic restorative cases.
Throughout his career, Dr Matthew Holyoak has demonstrated exceptional commitment to clinical excellence, education, and innovation—leaving a lasting impact on the dentists he’s mentored and the profession as a whole.
