Bruce graduated from Dundee University in 1990 and in 2008 was awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry, with Advanced Certification, from the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Bruce began his career creating Care Dental, a multi-disciplinary clinic in central Scotland. The 9-surgery practice includes Care Dental, Care Dental Implant Clinic and a focused, fully digital implant laboratory, Signature Ceramics. From this base, whilst understanding Scottish general dental practice, Bruce has mastered skills across the whole field of restorative and surgical dentistry, and over his 30-year career in implant dentistry has placed over 12000 implants.
Bruce has been involved in implant teaching across the UK and has hosted multiple training programmes in his clinic, but the main focus of his educational programmes is the mentoring and teaching of small groups of dentists and individuals as they journey from beginner to expert in restorative and implant surgical skills. The unique nature of his clinic and laboratory means that mentored dentists can access every level of teaching, clinical and laboratory support to safely develop their skills in the complex art of Implant Dentistry.
